A new modular typeface by Valery Golyzhenkov

Uglaya accords the principles of the modular font. The preset small number of elements involved in the construction allowed to achieve unexpected expressiveness both in individual characters of the font and in the set. The modular approach limits the means of crafting a form but also frees us from adhering to perfection and elegance. At the end of the journey, all we have to do is either accept or reject the result.
